Tasty Thursday: Trail Mix

Easy to make in large quantities, just double or triple the recipe and keep in an air tight container. Grab a baggie when heading to the beach, lake, park, trail, etc.Trail Mix


  • 3 cups low-fat granola
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1 cup rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries or cranberries
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)


1. In a large bowl or plastic bag, combine all ingredients. Toss to mix. Store in an airtight container for up to a month.
