2 Million Cribs Recalled. Is Yours One?

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the voluntary recall of more than 2 million cribs, amid concerns that babies can suffocate or become trapped in them.

Companies involved include: Evenflo, Delta Enterprise Corp., Child Craft, Jardine Enterprises, LaJobi, Million Dollar Baby and Simmons Juvenile Products.

Most of the cribs were drop-sides that can malfunction — creating a dangerous space where babies’ can become trapped. No deaths were linked to the recalled cribs, however, entrapment injuries have been reported.

If you own one of these cribs, the CPSC urges you to stop using it and to contact the manufacturers for repair kits.
